20,000+ Largest Wheat Penny Hunt On YouTube w/Major Key Dates Worth $$$

It’s not every day you get to find ten or twenty semi-key and full, major key date pennies when searching through untouched wheaties… but today was the day. Hunting 20,000 of them also definitely helped as opposed to times when I’ve been able to go through 3,000 or something along those lines. And it wasn't like we stopped at a 1911-D or 1914-S… we hit a bunch of the major key dates (no 09 S VDB though :/) as well as super UNC early wheaties, UNC Indian Head Cents, rare IHC dates, monster errors, and endless BU pennies that are all going to be worth a lot of money. It was also super cool to hunt these – and get paid for them since they aren't mine – so this was one of my favorite videos in a long time to go up!

    1. Good idea – should have. Filmed a little while ago but going forward if another bunch of lots accumulate I will

  1. Amazing finds! I did actually find a 1931-S in circulation back about 1972 or so in a penny roll. It was in pretty rough shape but it is still the one in my old wheat cent book. I never did find a 1914-D however…..after about 50+ years of hunting.

  2. Absolutely beautiful hunt and I am jealous I have been collecting coins for fifty plus years and i only on 5 Indian head coins however I live in Nova Scotia Canada and they are a tough find here.

  3. Very nice. I’ve been upgrading my early Lincolns (pre 1930) and found that the BU ones often come with great toning. Too bad you didn’t get a 12, 14 or 15 in that condition.

  4. Commenting to let you know that it is so much fun to watch you taking such joy in your hobby/career/business, and sharing it with us! Very educational, too!

  5. Nicely done! I have been accumulating coins for many years. It is guys like you that have recently inspired me to start sorting and organizing them. The addiction is coin roll hunting!! I have been acquiring halves, cents and even nickels, dimes and quarters. I am hooked! My favorites have to be pennies. ALWAYS finding treasure in those rolls. Keep up the good work. I’ll be watching…. JQ
