  5. My Grandmother is a retired bank manager. Once a good customer of hers came in with his coin collection and said he was tired of fooling with it and wished to deposit his entire collection into his account at face value. She tried to talk him out of it but he insisted. Once he left the bank the banks employees purchased all of them and divided them between one another as evenly as possible. She has one that is Chinese, it’s this color, has the dragon on one side but I can’t remember the year or what’s on the other side of the coin. I’ll have to research it after going to visit her soon.

  6. I do have a small collection of Chinese coins. They along with my authenticated “widows mite”, 35-60BC date range is the beginning of what I’m calling my Ancient World Coins collection. I only have 4 coins so far. But I’m working on obtaining at least 1 coin from all of the major ancient civilizations. Some cultures didn’t use coins as. “currency” so it’s difficult but so fascinating!!

  7. Thank you for the great video . I do not have any Chinese coins but now I’m on the look for them. I can’t wait to find one.

  8. Yes, I do have a number of Chinese coins in my world set and ancient coin set. Take care.
