Often doubled die errors often present themselves in the form of letters and numbers that appear ‘doubled’ or far too thick. However, in the case of a select few Lincoln pennies, his ear is the spot to look for a variety. On some of them it looks like a clear second earlobe while on others the discrepancies in the ear are more difficult to anatomically describe. Stick around for the full video for the values on these doubled die Lincoln Pennies worth lots of (or just a bit of extra) money because of Doubled Ears.

I found a 1983 d double ear last week like the first one of the big four, in great condition…lucky me. One of the best coins I’ve found! I knew it was a double ear even though it doesn’t look like one because of seeing your videos previously so, thanks bud!
I have a 2007 D very nice looking Penny and on the bottom of his ear it looks like he has a ear ring in his ear and there is full steps on the back also.
For us older folks it would be better if you could enlarge the pictures but great video and information! Have a good day
I have a 77 ..and a few more ..

Hi there, and good morning. Great video about the ears. I have a question for you related to a 1970-S double die penny of just the date and the letter S. I have a question for you related to a 1971 s double die penny, of just the date and the letter S.
I cannot find this type of error anywhere, it is the best doubling I’ve ever seen in my life. I just found it yesterday, and I’ve tried to research it, but to no avail. This being said, I think it could possibly be a new find.
Would you please be so kind as to tell me if you have ever heard of any such 1970 S penny error before.
It is truly beautiful, and the doubling which is very strong, can only be seen on the numbers and the letter S. How would one even begin to Value this piece, as there is nothing online or any books that describie i?
Thank you so much for all of your hard work and effort here come and happy Hunting !!! 🌟🙏🌟
