I Bought A $1,000 Rare Coin Grab Bag

(Note – 1920-1967 Canadian Silver is 80% Silver Purity) I unboxed a $1,000 coin and currency grab bag that has since been sent out to a purchaser – let's see how we do on this one and whether or not we can make back the original $1,000 price.

If you would like to order one, please click on the link below – they are fulfilled by Spencer from WestCoastVarieties on Instagram. He only does grab bag orders through the Treasure Town site.

  1. Well, I’d say you got your money’s worth. Not sure I’d have valued some of the items as highly as you did, but I’m not an error collector. Still, a nice lot.

    1. Gotcha! I think it’s tough to go wrong on this one – but a lot of the coins are thinly traded / specialized in terms of who’s paying.

  2. hi Christian how am I able to send you a picture of a 100 dollar bill to see if the marking on it is rare thanks Sharon

  3. Canada changed silver purity in 1920 from 92.5 to 80. I don’t know were you found the “50%” claim :/

    1. Oh shoot! That was a simple mistake – can’t believe I didn’t catch that. Bummer. Not going to take the video down because it’d be a hassle to reupload – meant to say 92.5% to 80%

  4. Far more interesting to see a $1000 grab bag rather than $100 bag. At least there were a couple $100+ coins

  5. THIS GREAT VIDEO INSPIRE MANY PEOPLE,PEOPLE THAT SHARE WITH OTHERS THIS AMAZING HOBBIE THAT NEVER DIE,THANKS APPRECIATE CHRISTIAN HARTCH😊👍🇺🇲❤🗽

    1. Thanks for the perspective – always interesting to think through how different people value the items.
