Another great video! Thanks. Will need to go through the ones I’ve set aside. You’re always so informative. Seeing your videos helps remind me of some things I’ve read but forget to check for. Can’t remember it all so this really helps!! Thanks

I have had a few of these but they have been the run of the mill coins. I did save a couple of them, though, because they are unique. Great video once again. Thank you!

I just bought 2 rolls of those gold dollars Sacajawea and 1/2 are in excellent almost blemish free condition! 🙂

Wow. In reading some of the comments, I suggest people look for the Cherrypickers Guide, Volume 2, where you will find the value of the varieties. The Speared Eagle variety is worth about $2,500 if it grades MS67, and I doubt you’ll ever find one better. The Cheerios variety is worth about $3,750 in MS67, if you’re lucky to get one to grade MS68, you could get $6,000.
I have one ungraded but never been removed from protective sleeve, as well as two circulated.
I’ve got a huge coin collection with some serious gems. Long story short I wrecked my bike &broke my back in 6places. Fortunately I’m not paralyzed but I’ll be down for a min and I’m going to need to sell..
If interested in checking them out let me know and I’ll give my email.
We have quite a few of these! 😳 Actually, my son was in 1st grade when the P came out, his teacher gave them out as rewards to the kids in her class! THANK YOU MS. BELL.
Thank you son…for earning the rewards. 😉
I. Have three of them where can I sell them
Only the special Glenna Goodacre “non burnished” types are worth the big money.
I have every p & d ms coin from 65′ to 08, that includes the Kennedy’s, S. B. Anthony’s & Roosevelt’s in the original ms packaging and in the envelopes themselves! I have many collections but this is by far my favorite besides another collection I have that I was told not to mention, the point is I’m willing to part with it for the right price, for legal reasons I need the money otherwise it would stay in my safety deposit box for my children when I pass away, I have a 15yr old & one turning 20 Saturday, they’ve already lost their mother leaving me widowed and my boys without a mother and all I have to leave them are my coin collections! That being said, I will also throw in a rare 1935 wheat penny, heck i’ll even throw in my wheat 1942 & 1944, but i’m sorry to say I cannot part with my 1943 which my wife went through a great deal and many yrs of haggling to get! Bidding starts at $50,000, trust me when I say that you will get your money’s worth, and I cannot let my boys find out I’m doing this cause I told them I already paid for my treatment, I will post pictures by tonight, ty for your patience!

It would have been nice to show a regular dollar vs the Goodacre
There is no difference. Goodacre got paid in these dollars, she got them all graded and slabbed and sold them. That is what makes them special, the slab that says “Goodacre presentation”. If you find one in circulation somehow there’s no way to tell the difference because there is no difference.
@Sparky Jones they said they arnt burnished
@Sparky Jones I got one when it came back from grading they said it was.
There is a differents . The difference is in the tail feathers . As the regular one has straight lines. The other is slanted and detailed different. That is the one that would be worth keeping in my opinion. You can see the difference if you have both. Have many regular ones that the 2024 book says they are worth $3.00. now as of May 1st 2023.
My mom and I were saving these Sacagawea gold Dollars every since 2000. I now have her collection after she passed. I have 5 P’s gold and luster like this one.
All 5000 Goodacre coins were certified by ICG so they were All “slabbed”,I seriously doubt one will ever be found in some pocket change .
The cheerios coins had different tail feathers on the reverse .
I’m a Numismatist, but anyone can Google these facts .
Suppose someone had several of these 2000 P coins. Where would they be taken to for evaluation?
@Ken Justice I have 9….
Hey Blue. Every Goodacre presentation dollar was graded immediately and sold to collectors by Goodacre herself. You are not finding one in change unless someone cracks one out of the slab and spends it.

I have been purchasing these from the US Mint since 2000, I enjoy the coins and have many rolls and bags of these from each year, I think they are great.
I wasn’t interested in the SACAGAWEA until I got one and then another. One of them has a Satiny finish while the other one has an ultra brilliant luster on both sides. Not only that, I was impressed by the FEEL of it. Another coin dealer pointed out that the SCAGAWEA, although only GOLD plated is clad with a Brass/Manganese blend. In short, it has the feel of a pure gold coin.
I actually have one of these! This has never happened to me before but there is no doubt that this coin is the exact coin he is speaking about !

How’d u do with it
Hey Blue ridge just wanted to say hi and say keep it up you just don’t know how much your videos mean to me I’m homebound and my coin collection and eBay store means it all to me and threw you I have found so much thanks

Very informative! Shaun, have you ever found Washington quarters with no reeding? Thanks Greg
Textme۩
I recently was blessed to come across one of these and I still have it today
Textme۩
I got a 1979 silver colored one this past week as a quarter in my change from a sore. It is really nice and haven’t ever saw one before and when I put a quarter on top of it it is the rim around the dollar coin that is just the difference between a one dollar coin. I figured that the checker just ook it out of the quarter part of the drawer. I am trying to find out how much it is worth.

You Most Likely Found A SBA Suzanne B. Anthony $1 Coin. They Are All Worth $2 No Matter The Condition. I Found 3 Total In 3 Rolls Of Dollar Coins ($25 Per Roll). Keep It, They Can Only Increase In Value.
Love your channel! Great info on collector coins. I have 7 of these $$ with various mintage years. One is just like the one you displayed. A 2000 p. Also, a uncirculated 2004 S. Are these worth going through PGC? Are they worth more depending on mint mark? Thanks for any feedback!

I remember when the Sacagawea dollar came out, and was in circulation. Seems like everyone had one in their pocket change, for a good year or so after, as a matter of fact….
I would like to have seen a regular Sacagawea dollar, same grade, same year, side by side of this rare Sacagawea.
