Searching A Bank Box Coin Collection: Silver & More (Some Surprises)

Had the opportunity to unbox this smaller collection of U.S. coinage, including a bit of silver, as well as a few world silver commems / United States bullion. It was a standard small collection that someone had enjoyed putting together, and I think it's great to learn more about some of the my process, how to think about the coins, what to look for, and the fact that collections can be neat without spending a ton of money.

  1. Nice collection. Seems that this guy got some connections to Germany. Never heard of this company located in Bochum. “1000 Jahre Banteln” is a private medal, issued for a small town anniversary. Take a look for silver marks at the rim. Greets from GER, U.

  2. I didn’t see you look at those envelopes that were clipped to the top of the box was there anything there???? Other than that great video as always enjoyed it 👍
