This video is part of a series every week highlighting a different coin you may find in pocket change or in a collection worth money. Whether it’s an error penny, variety penny, or key date penny, the pennies worth money are often worth big money – and I’m here to show you what to look for via a discussion of where the error or variety is on the coin and then close up pictures of it. If you watch, you may find pennies worth big money after cherrypicking.
This specific video is about 1970-D pennies worth money – these 1970-D repunched mint mark and doubled die error coins can be worth $60 or more in the right condition! Best of luck finding one of these awesome 1970-D pennies.

Great 1970 penny tips as always CHRISTIAN HARTCH you are the BEST COIN HOST OF ALL😊👍🎅👍❤
I got a penny like that. It’s really like gold and shinny
You better call ghost busters 👻😬 Nice video as usual 👍
Thanks for more great info!
Thanks for another great video
I have a 1982 Gold plated penny that I received from a plating company it was sent to me as a promotional product to show the companies abilities and quality, I’ve never been able to find out what it is worth, any ideas from you would be greatly appreciated, Liked the vid
Thank you Christian for your videos. I also noticed on a 1970 D penny a missing initials on the back. I have one. And I laughed when I rewind the video to watch the book moved.
For sure!

That was pretty damn good, thanks
Thanks!
Hi – what does it mean to have a right pointed arrow engraved before the (1970) on my D penny? ▶️
That is shiny.
The 1 i have is clad copper
I think I may have the one with the separated L and i in Liberty. Decided to look at my pennies that have been sitting around a few yrs.
I have quite a few 1982 and earlier yrs. All circulated but in very good condition. One 1970 penny that I almost wrapped to trade cause I thought it was new. Shines like new Copper.
Hey thanks for posting the video. My interest is because i do have a 70D cent in relatively good condition except for one thing i believe is a mint error that you did not address in your video. I am an amateur collector and believe this one is worth a secound look. Any attention is much appreciated.
I just wanted to say thanks for being to the point and at the same time very informative!
I have 2 1982 D penny’s one weighing 3.1 G and the other 3.08 G, the 3.1 G has smaller lettering and date, I’ve had them for Quite some time now also have a 1970 penny weighing 3.12 G the 9 does not have a curved end it’s weirdly shaped… Anyway reach back to me I could use some expert opinions
I have a practically new looking roll of 1970 D’s and the 1 is almost not visible and closer to the inside edge of the coin, is there any value on this role of very shiny pennies, thx.
Hey there. Just had a quick question and this seems like the right place for an answer since I can’t find much on Google for it. I have a 1970 D penny but what makes it unique is the mint mark is basically touching the 9 and is extremely off center. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you

I have a 1970 with an 0 under the date ,it is either steel or aluminum.
Anyone know what it’s worth?
I got a really clean 70D. It’s a close AM. I’m not sure if it matters on this particular coin. I found a drawer littered with some sweet Pennies; 1943 S War Time nickle some state Quarters but no silver other than that DD 43 S Nickle. And a ton if Pennies from the 30s to 2001. 71 1983 Pennies and what looks like some special special strike browns that may or may not have satin finish. I’ve always collected this and that. But just now learning about errors and the lingo. I really am grateful for your videos. So, thank you. I’d love to show you some super clean Pennies they look new almost. But are 90-23:years old. I even have a 52 D DD I think it’s a DD. I’m still learning. I did find 2 SB Anthony dollars, D and a huge DD P mint mark. It makes you think your eyes are blurry. Message me if you wanna see some of these fresh picks.
