250,000 Pennies – Saving Every Copper Penny I’ve Ever Found

250,000 Pennies – Saving Every Copper Penny I’ve Ever Found
This is all of the copper pennies I have saved over the years. Obviously, any wheat cents, indian head cents, errors, varieties and foreign copper coins are not included.
At $4.06/lb for copper, these coins are worth more than face value. If I ever decide to LEGALLY cash them in, I would make a nice chunk of profit.
At worst case, even at face value, I have over $2,300 in copper pennies to be used like a savings account.
PS: There are many people who buy copper cents by the pound to check for varieties and/or make into art. jewelry and even for home improvement projects (like flooring).

Happy hunting and consider saving those copper cents!

    1. I can’t even imagine your collection it’s definitely a very good one and you will definitely be able to be sitting pretty later on in your golden years

    2. I was wondering what you do with all the copper…… You should make a rocky Balboa statue and put your face on it….. Just a thought…
      LORD 🦅💯 OUT ✌️

    1. Guess I am not alone either collecting pennies.
I only have one regret. I wish I could go back in time & KEPT ALL THOSE PENNIES that I had cashed in at the bank.

    2. @Check Ya Later because the new ones are made with zinc which has no value copper pennies have 3x the value so think about it each one your save is 3 pennies instead of one…

    1. This made me laugh hard! My lady just HATES my coin hunting habit. If it were up to her, she’d be headed to the nearest coin machine to get rid of them.

    1. They alredy broke a shelf in a closet lol one stream a frew years ago we heard a loud crashing sound in the backround it was a shelf in the closet full of Pennies that came crashing down shortly after that happend Charlani got up to to investigate what the sound was we all heard her yelling oh pennies everywhere I dont remeber what tream it was but it was pretty funny lol.

  2. I wish I could have kept all the copper I found but I don’t have the space. I admire the dedication

    1. @Cats only I have a huge baggie full of Canadian copper pennies. I get a lot of them around my area.

    2. @Conservative Coin Collector same here. Especially since they discontinued the one cent. I enjoy finding all the years with the different obverses of the late Queen Elizabeth.

  3. You’re ahead of me, 80% of mind is not rolled. I cash my zinc in lose bags; bank doesn’t want it rolled. I have several shoe boxes of unreadable buffaloes.

  4. Rob, I think it would be cool if you did a video answering questions from fans! Could be questions like: top 3 favorite finds you’ve ever found coin roll hunting, favorite coin in your collection, who or what got you into collecting, etc. I think that would be a really neat video!

  5. That’s awesome. I’ve been saving them up too. But I definitely don’t have that many. You’re a coin roll hunting legend already Rob!
