  1. No who would ever thought you would cancel a coin that’s awesome and have you got something else to keep my eye out for but trust and believe if I ever ran across one I would have definitely kept it ‼️

  2. Seems to me that these would be considered illegal to own. Obviously being cancelled or decommissioned, it is not counted in the currency tally and would have no backing. I can’t see a process from the machine for it to be mistakenly passed into circulation. Seems more likely in this situation that somebody conscientiously took possession of it. Whether a mint employee or a vendor/ recycling employee. Wouldn’t be much different than stealing scrap metal or other items from your employer.

  4. I have three cancel coin one with queen Elizabeth how much is she? I never heard of cancel coin when I bought it at the time they were called waffle coin.

    I think that the mint employees let the cancelled coins get into circulation.

  8. I had never heard of “cancelled coins” and the employees are putting them into circulation … accidentally, on purpose . I would love to find one of those.
