Melting Gold – Smelting Gold At Home

Melting Gold – Smelting Gold At Home
In this video, I'll be melting some Gold Bullion into a Gold Skeleton and Gold RFT Button, using my Electric Furnace instead of the new Devil Forge Furnace or Foundry!
I am still an amateur when it comes to pouring and stamping as I only get a little practice every other week BUT I love trying my best and it's always a lot of fun.
I want to thank Teacher for sending me the gold to melt as it was very kind of him to entrust me with this project.
Hopefully, you all enjoy this pour video and don't give me too hard of a time. 🙂

🔴Warning – smelting gold or any metals is dangerous. Please be sure to take safety precautions and research the process before you ever attempt it.

    1. @RobFindsTreasure I love your videos. I was wondering where did you get that awesome scull mold at? I would like to melt my gold different like that. Instead of just in bar molds. Also your stamp on the button where can I get custom stamps like the at? Thank you again for awesome videos.

  2. Awesome brother!!!! Teacher is such a blessing to this community. Thanks Rob for all your videos, knowledge and fun!!!

  3. The character that each individual pour presents at the finish is what makes it fine art and increases the cool 😎 factor!

  4. I am salivating at the 1 ounce gold bars. I could never stomach changing anything that shiny 😊. Very cool video considering how expensive!

  5. Wow that skull is amazing. The cracks do give it character. Thanks Rob for doing this with me and Jim.

  6. You got it, you do it. You never need a reason or make a excuses for your hobby. Nuggets are fun too, but I use hammered sand molds so don’t get splashing.

  7. I really like the look of that hammered out round, it looks really nice, almost like old pirate gold or something, very cool

  8. Pretty amazing!! Thanks for sharing! Thanks to Teacher for the idea and the gold so we can see this process!!

  9. Do a tutorial on how to make our own gold bar & possibly stamp for beginners, would be cool to see that! Regardless the skull looked awesome! What you think caused the lines? The mold itself or something else?
