THE 10 MOST EXPENSIVE MODERN U.S. COINS IN HISTORY – Famous Coins To Look For

This list, made up of some of the most expensive coins in recent memory (that we defined as being made in 1940 or later), showcases awesome U.S. errors, key dates, and errors that everyone should know about. One of the coolest aspects of these coins is that many of them were found in pocket change or bank wrapped rolls instead of some type of mint conspiracy. The coins range from pennies to dimes to quarters to half dollars to dollars… the only one that’s missing is the quarter! They have tons of value and hopefully more of them can sprout up in change or forgotten collections – make sure you know what they are!
